Wow, that's a lot on both of you. Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers over the next few weeks.

GM GMan, haven't talked to you in a while. Hope everything is good with you and life in Colorado is not too bad now that the state has given new meaning to the phrase "Rocky Mountain High". Still love those beautiful mountains around Colorado Springs.

The same with buying extra paper towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, clothes, etc. It was cheaper a year and two and three and four years ago when I told people to buy, and the few who did saved a bit of money that the others didn't. It's like having a savings account that pays a better interest rate than what you'd get with a CD or money market account. Have a great day!

Grazzie/Paldies/Mauruuru/Asante/Thank you! I truly appreciate that. You could do me a favor and keep me in prayer for Wisdom, knowledge and more intelligence and a great cognitive ability than what I've had and for ways wherein I can put it all to good use and help people with it. I already do to a degree, but I want to be better at it. I typically warn as many ahead of time as I can about prices going up at the pump and prices going up in-general. Most everyone pays attention to me now as I'm right about 90%+ of the time, even as much as 97or 98%. I might be off by one to five days or by a few cents, but I typically get it all right in the range that I figure it's going up. Many buy extra gas now as well to save a few extra dollars, some even buy extra oil when we hit the lows. I think we're going to go up a bit once again, then we'll come down for a while and when we're down, I hope everyone buys extra gas and oil this time, because they might really hit us bad.

I'm glad to have you among my friends, my buddies here. You take care. Enjoy the 4th. I won't be on much as I'm trying to find a job; and I desperately need one.

Oh, yeah, I personally like Ford Crown Victorias, Chevy Malibus, Chargers, along with Escorts, Fusions, Avengers, Fiestas, Sonics and Cruzes among other things like F-150s and Dodge Rams or Durangos and Suburbans, but no matter what I own I've ALWAYS made them more fuel efficient. I can't stand it when it comes standard and I know I can make it faster, have more available horsepower and torque as well as handle better, brake better, get to 60 or the 1/4 mile faster, have a higher top end [I've topped out just about everything I've ever owned at over 100 for them all, and a few up to 125 to 140+] and still get better gas mileage than most everyone out there driving the same thing. I like the look on the faces of people when I tell them I'm getting 25 or 30+ mpg instead of the typical 20 or 25 for some things or well over 40+ for others.

We didn't need the government bailout back in 2008-2009 for the banks as it just made the wealthy richer off the backs of the rest of the 98% of us. I'm for limited government, I'm not for high taxation like we had back in the 1930's to the 1970's. Carter and Reagan both did a good thing on cutting capital gains and especially Reagan on cutting back income taxes. We had jobs here in this country then, partially due to them. I don't like the Democrats or Republicans in power today for the most part, and I'd rather that most of them were around to piss up against a wall. Sure, I'd still like you for a bud. Besides, you're into much of what I'm into as well. As far as vehicles, you and I and we all drive whatever we want in my book. I'm not an eco-Nazi and I don't like them. They're making things worse for the mass majority of us.

I'm very Independent, very Libertine myself. Don't care for the idea of legalizing drugs either, except for medical purposes only, as they do have medicinal uses, much like some liquor and wine is good for your health or medicinally, but it's not good to drink it every day. I'm hawkish myself on a great many things when dealing with our enemies. I don't like the police actions we've been in. Either fight and win and defeat the enemy or don't bother to do anything. What did police actions do for us in Korea, Vietnam or Afghanistan or even Iraq. I'm a greenie, but I'm very realistic. I'm in favor of free-markets, not a lot of government intervention.

Be a bud?

I heartily agree, let them in California find out first and suffer the most.
